How do I purchase the mystery knit-along pattern?
The Playin’ My Song MKAL Pattern is available on the SweetGeorgia Yarns website and on Ravelry as a pre-sale pattern at the discounted early-bird price of C$6.50 CAD. No coupon code is needed, but you only have until Monday, Aug 14 to snag it at the special discounted price. Simply purchasing the Playin’ My Song MKAL Pattern automatically ensures you’ll receive every clue update, as well as the full pattern once it is launched.

When are the clues released?
Look for the three weekly clues on the following dates:
- Clue One: Aug 15
- Clue Two: Aug 22
- Clue Three: Aug 29
The final, full pattern will launch on September 12.
If you purchased via Ravelry, you’ll need to hit “update” in your library on Clue Day. If you purchased via sweetgeorgiayarns.com, you’ll receive a notification that the pattern has been updated; you’ll need to follow the link and download the updated Clue.

And, of course, what’s a party with an actual party? We’re going to host a Zoom knit-along every week. You’ll find the link for sign up inside the Pattern PDF download you receive upon purchase.

Yarn
1 SweetGeorgia Yarns Mystery Knit-Along Set in You Can Dance. The set contains:
- 2 skeins SweetGeorgia Yarns Tough Love Sock, 1 each in Bubble Wand (MC) and Seaside (CC1) (425 yd / 388 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 80% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon).
- 1 half-skein SweetGeorgia Yarns CashLuxe Spark in Mandarin (208 yd / 190 m per 2 oz / 60 g skein; 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Silver Stellina).
Needles
Size 6 US / 4mm circular needle, 16″ / 40 cm long
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Gauge
24 sts and 49 rows = 4″ / 10 cm in Garter st, after blocking.
19 sts and 32 rows = 4″ / 10 cm in Lace Swatch patt, after blocking.
Please note that changes in gauge will affect yardage used and final measurements.
Finished Measurements
78″ / 195 cm top wingspan, 18″ / 45 cm depth at centre
Pattern Notes
Refer to imperial gauge for imperial sizes and metric gauge for metric sizes. The stitch instructions are both written and charted.
Knitters will need to know how to:
- work left, right, and centred decreases
- work knit front & back (kfb) and yarn over (yo) increases
- change and carry colours
