February Hold-Along Cast-On Day

Nilas cowl, a waffle stitch cowl by Tabetha Hedrick,

Welcome to Day One of our February Hold-Along! Today, we’re casting on and preparing to cruise through the month holding two yarns together… together! If you’re just finding out about the Hold-Along, you can check back on the three blog posts:

  1. Join us for a February Hold-Along
  2. Why Double Strand Yarn?
  3. February Hold-Along Plans

I promised that we’ll have a small handful of FABULOUS giveaways and that’s just what I’m going to kick us off with. Today through February 6, you can get the lovely Nilas cowl knitting pattern, or the Whispered Winds crochet scarf pattern for FREE (with the code shown below).

Both are perfect for double stranding (or triple, quadruple, you get the idea) and mixing up different fibres. Not to mention being beginner friendly, yet fun for every level of knitter or crocheter. Just think of the colour and yarn combinations you can play with!

To download Nilas cowl knitting pattern (on our website HERE or on Ravelry HERE) or Whispered Winds crochet scarf pattern for free (on our website HERE or on Ravelry HERE) use the code HOLDWITHUSGIFT.

And then! Grab any yarn to cast on with us today! In the meantime, I look forward to seeing you on the Discord server and on the School of SweetGeorgia forums to chat about your progress.
